Services
Equipment for Overnight Loan - Our library offers equipment for overnight loan, including slide projectors, 8mm movie projector, screen, portable public address system, and LCD projector. There is a $20/day fee for each.
Book Donations and Sales - Donated used books are accepted, with the understanding that if they are not needed for the collection, they will be sold at our annual book sale. Proceeds from the sale are used for collection development.
General Services - General services include bicycle racks, benches, public restrooms with diaper-changing stations, and a public telephone.
Low Vision Equipment - Low vision equipment, such as handheld magnifiers and a lighted magnifier lamp, is available at the circulation desk.
Magazine Exchange - Patrons may bring in their used periodicals (from the past three months only, please) and exchange them for ones they haven’t read.
Meeting Room - The Library Meeting Room is fully equipped for up to 75 people. Check at the circulation desk for reservations. There is a $20 refundable deposit for use of the room.
Microfilm Reader/Printer - Our Multimedia Room contains a microfilm/microfiche reader/printer. Ask at the desk about its use.
Photocopier/Fax - The library offers black & white photocopying for a small charge and Fax (both sending and receiving) for a nominal fee. |
Printing - Black & white printing is available from our public access computers. There is a small per-page fee after the first five sheets.
Public Computers - At present, our library offers public access to six computers that include various Microsoft software applications, reference tools, and games. A children’s game computer is also provided.
Scanner - A scanner is available for public use.
Talking Books - The Talking Books Program is available through the Montana State Library for visually and physically disabled readers who qualify. Pick up more information about this free service at the circulation desk.
Tax Forms - During tax season, our library offers a selection of commonly used tax forms. Additional forms are available to photocopy. Many others are available online.
Test Proctoring - Our library offers test proctoring services. Call the circulation desk for information.
Typewriter - Filling out a form? Don’t use computers? Use our electric typewriter instead.
Vital Statistics Indices - Indices for vital statistics from local newspaper archives are available from 1910 to 1989.
Webcam - The library has a webcam for public in-library use.
Wi-Fi - Wireless Internet is free throughout the building. |
